I’m a Feedbin user, so I logged into my Feedbin account with Current on my iPhone. I then meticulously went through my 147 feeds, setting their velocity, person/webcomic flag, etc for each. I also used the option to create currents from my Feedbin tags, which worked.
I just installed Current on my iPad, signed into Feedbin there, and was disappointed to find that none of the velocity or person/webcomic flags synced. All my sources and currents appeared, but my currents show zero sources. And it looks like the currents with zero sources synced back to my phone, so now my currents there have no sources!
I sync with NewsBlur, and have had this same issue multiple times. Would love to understand whether there is a workaround or order of operations I’m supposed to follow to be able to use Calm across multiple devices.
I don’t think that it is a Feedbin or NewsBlur thing? I am using iCloud and while feed settings being synced across platforms has improved, it does not feel to me as though it is there yet. Some settings aren’t making it.
This is totally on the icloud side, even with a sync provider. I’ve spent the past 3 or 4 days rewriting the icloud integration from scratch - it’s been such a bear to deal with. The good news is I’m making progress and I should have an update pretty soon!
The top priorities for me right now are icloud sync and scroll performance. Both being fixed will resolve about 80% of the bugs that are happening across all 3 platforms.
