Sidebar permanently open

The latest update auto collapses side-bar when selecting an article, which could be cool for smaller iPads. For a iPad 13 in high density mode, it’s just adding another click to reopen the navigation. Ideally, you’re scrolling down the current feed, clicking on articles to view and then resuming the scroll. Release button at the end of article feed allows for sidebar to re-open but option for it to be toggled to be permanently open would be cool. It could also be nice for Release to have a Save article option beside it or long-pressing on Release gives that option - if an article is particularly good, saving is good option to have immediately available within article as well as a side-bar gesture.

This is listed as fixed in the 1.0.4 release notes.

Thanks @sentience - hadn’t seen that. I’m on latest release I can get, 10.3, so looking forward to 10.4

Confirmed, just got 1.4 and issue is resolved -thanks

On 10.5, the sidebar seems to have reverted to auto-collapse for iPadOS ?

Gestures within the article - not sidebar - don’t seem active.

Yeah this is my experience too. The update fixed it and now it’s broken again. I assume because the iPad updated rather than the app.
